The evening’s proceedings start with a reception at 5:30 p.m., affording those in attendance the opportunity to meet and greet the inductees and grab a few autographs. At 6:30 p.m., the formal program begins featuring presentations to the Spirit of Sport honourees followed by video tributes to the Hall of Fame inductees, the unveiling of their plaques, and a chance to hear from the Hall’s newcomers who join the more than 60 previous inductees, some of whom will also be in attendance. An added feature of the event is a silent auction with proceeds going to Kids Sport.
