Broadcasting institution in London for almost 55 years. Born Peter James Eydt April, 1937 in Hamilton. Began career CKTB radio St. Catharines 1955. Then came stops at CHLO St. Thomas, CKSL London, CFPL (14 years sports director), and 25-plus years at CFPL-TV as sports director. Currently sports anchor/commentator CJBK Radio morning show. Voice of London Knights along with Mike Stubbs. Countless colour and play-by-play events such as London Lords, Western Mustangs football, London Tigers baseball and Memorial Cup. Active with London Sports Celebrity Dinner. Received lifetime achievement award from Canadian Radio and TV News Directors Assoc. 2005. Recipient of London’s Hockey Men of Distinction Award 2009.
