- President of Byron Optimist Baseball and member of the London District Baseball Association for more than 20 years.

- As Vice President of Baseball Canada represented Canada at international meetings and major tournaments in Amsterdam, Milan, Kobe, Seoul, and Havana.
- Chef de Mission for Baseball Canada at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul.

- 1988 Winter Olympics Torch Relay participant.
